Bus waits above us at the school gates.Just sitting there waiting to take us to the StarDome.
It's a Friday morning. The sun shone above us. Today was the day all the year 9 students at Tamaki College where going to the StarDome.
The bell rings , and we all assemble out in front of the music room. Teachers counting their students making sure no one gets left behind. We wouldn't want that to happen.
So we all aboard the bus waiting anxiously for the bus to move.
Vroom Vroom , the bus takes off. Everyone singing and laughing.
We approach at our destination and all jump out of the bus.
We were split into groups. Some people went for a dreadful walk up One Tree Hill , and the rest of the crew went into a new world. The land of the stars.
I was in the first group , the group that went to visit up in space.
We relaxed on the comfy seats in a little quiet room.
Looking up at the roof , a new discovery appeared. Moon & light , stars. Everything we see in the night sky.
After all that we all went out into the corridor and looked around. Exploring all the objects that have been seen and found in our solar system.
About 15 minutes after looking at everything we went into another little room. We watch a documentary about life in space. How people move , how they survive & what they do in space.
It was very fascinating. After all of that we swapped around. So the group outside where going into the Dome as we were about to struggle going up the hill. Woooow ! that was soooo tiring. Never Again.LOL ! Once at the top of the hill we all took photos. Then ran all the way back down and boarded our bus.:)
Now it was time to go home.
