Year 9’s were lucky enough to visit stardome on Friday. We got there and had the chance to watch a film all about our solar system and how our planet is orbiting today. We didn’t spend too long in there until we were allowed to visit the observatory room. Soon after, we were instructed to enter the space room where we learn about astronauts and rockets. I enjoyed it quite a bit, no doubt about that.
As a second rotation, we all went for a walk up-hill to one tree hill. Up there, we saw things we hadn’t experienced in quite a long time. We took photos as a way of capturing memories. Then our way back to the bus, we took a whole lot more as a class and as friends. My experience was like no other, I enjoyed it a lot. I wouldn’t mind doing it again some time soon.
